Susan is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a registered play therapist who has clinical experience working with individuals, couples and families. In addition, she has worked in school settings counseling students and working as part of an integrated team supporting school-aged children’s emotional and educational development.  Her current clinical focus is exclusively with children ages 3-12 and their families.

Susan’s psychotherapy practice is designed to support young children as they grow and develop their unique sense of self within the context of family and peer relationships. Susan’s work with parents is based on the belief that all families will encounter challenges at one time or another. Therapeutic parent guidance enhances effective communication within the family and helps parents develop an empathic understanding of their child’s behavior.  Susan uses a variety of therapeutic approaches to support and encourage growth, change, and increased competence for all of her clients.
